2025 was an amazing year and display. thank you to everyone who donated and came to our event.
We will be back on the 7th November 2026 – somewhere in the Batheaston village!
Important: There is no Parking in Northend Village. It is a small road and will gridlock if people try to drive directly to the venue. We will have event marshalls on the main road to stop non residents from drive up the Batch. If you are coming from a distance please park in one of the two Car Parks in Batheaston or along the London Road. The venue is a 10 minute walk from these locations.

The 23rd (Avonvale) Bath Scout Group has been running the Batheaston Bonfire night celebrations for the last 14 years and the event has grown significantly over that time.
In true scouting style, the team found a way to keep it running through lockdowns. In 2020 we hosted fireworks from your fence event and in 2021 we put on a watch from home and the event, but had to restrict the numbers.
This year we are planning a big event for everyone.
We have a spectacular show planned with a lantern glow, a massive bonfire, a professional fireworks display, a bar, and food.
The event is for the community and we look forward to bringing the community together once more for this traditional event.

Donations and Ticket Requests
In the past we have set up a crowdfunder campaign but a number of these companies now ask for donations to themselves as well as the scouts. This year we have created our own streamlined system and now donations and tickets is just one step.
By donating rather than buying tickets you can give as much as you can afford and avoid the long queues at the gate.
Please tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer. This means that we can claim and extra 25% of your donation from the government. So if you donate £20 we get £25 and it does not cost you a penny more!
Donation ticket requests have closed. Tickets can be purchased on the gate.
Gate prices
If you have not got tickets before the event they can be purchased on the gate – prices are as follows.
- Child £5
- Adult £10
- Family £25 (two adults and up to three children)
- Youth Group members in uniform FREE

When is it?
Saturday 8th November 2025
What time does the Bonfire Start?
Gates will open at 6 pm and the bonfire will be lit at around 6.10 – fireworks are generally lit at 7 pm but this depends on whether people are still arriving as we will hold off firing until the gates are clear and closed.
When will the ticket donations close?
You will be able to request tickets up to midnight on Friday 7th November. After this time you will have to buy tickets on the gate at the above prices,
When do I get my tickets?
All tickets requested will be emailed within 30 minutes of your donation. If you do not have your ticket request receipt please check your spam folder (especially if you are using Hotmail)
Where is the Bonfire?
The venue is at the top of Seven Acre Lane
Is there food this year?
Yes – there will be locally produced Hot Dogs
Is there parking?
No. We recommend that you take public transport or walk to the event. The nearest car park is in Batheaston High Street.
Will there be a Guy on the top of the fire?
No.
Are the fireworks silent?
This year’s display will include many smaller, quieter fireworks as we are able to hold the display closer to the audience. However, some of the bigger, higher fireworks will make a noise when they explode.
We work hard to ensure everyone is aware of our display and actively encourage people to come to the event rather than letting off fireworks from their own back garden at random times over the weeks before and after 5th November.
We try to liaise with all local livestock owners to ensure they are aware of the event and plan the firing location accordingly.
Although we are not able to comment on an individual’s situation we have had dog owners take their dogs for a drive during the 30 mins period the fireworks will happen.
